A business plan is the most important tool in the development of a successful business. The plan must incorporate an achievable strategic goal and incorporate a realistic progression of steps or milestones.  Each stage needs to be timed, resourced and costed such that the key audiences for the plan - The Senior Management Team and Investors are able to understand the goal, provide support and have a mechanism to measure performance. In particular investors need to see the growth of monetary value of the business at each stage and incorporate this information into their exit strategy.

  • Preparation of Investor Presentations

Biopharmaceuticals are the most technically advanced products in the pharmaceutical industry and full understanding requires familiarity with a vast lexicon of jargon. In order to obtain funding or other forms of support it is necessary to make sure that the technical opportunity and technical development plan can be clearly expressed to any particular audience. The objective is not to teach but to communicate. The depth of understanding varies considerably from audience to audience; from specialist analysts and consultants who are up-to-date and are familiar with the field to general fund managers and private investors who have little understanding of the science.
